Abstract

A stop-cock comprises a tubular body (10) provided with a first inlet port (12), a second inlet port (14) and an outlet port (16). A plug (24) is rotatably mounted in the body (10) and comprises three passageways (28, 30, 32) and an inner chamber (36). In an open position of the stock-cock, the first inlet port (12) and the outlet port (16) communicate but in the closed position of the stop-cock, this communication is broken. In both the open and the closed positions of the stop-cock, the second inlet port (14) and the outlet port (16) are in communication Such a stop-cock can be used with containers comprising a discharge opening and an overflow opening. <IMAGE>
