Abstract

A nozzle for powder flame- spraying apparatus comprises a nozzle body 2 made of a material such as beryllium-copper, a central powder- carrier gas channel 3 and either an annular fuel-gas supply channel or a plurality of fuel-gas supply channels 4 concentrically surrounding the powder-carrier gas channel 3, the channels being arranged so that the powder and gas flows intersect in front of the outlet-side face 1, the outlet-side face being curved in a convex manner and/or comprising one or more frusto-conical surfaces. Caking of the powder on the outlet- side face is thus avoided. <IMAGE>
