Abstract

Ice lollies are decorated with heated stamping tools, whereby an undercut pattern may be produced. Disfiguring of the impressed pattern is prevented by heat transfer into the frozen lollies. As shown, ice lollies 4 frozen in upwardly-diverging freezing pockets 3 are lifted out by an arm 9 with clamps 10 to grip the sticks of the lollies and are rotated and placed between electrically heated piston-operated stamping tools 15. <IMAGE>
