Abstract
The pivoted caliper 4 includes hydraulic actuators 8 and a mechanical actuator 9, the latter being operated by a lever 12 articulated at 14 to the piston rod of an actuator 16 whose line of action 17 is parallel to the caliper pivot axis 5. Either articulation 14 or the mounting of the actuator on its support 27 is such as to allow some movement perpendicular to the plane of the drawing during caliper movement. <IMAGE>
