Magazine hand cameras with connected action between shutter and changing-mechanism. - In cameras with provision whereby the shutterlever is prevented from returning to its original set position by a safety catch controlled by devices mounted on or operated by the filmwinding mechanism, to prevent two exposures being made on the same portion of a film, the safety catch coacts with another catch, which is connected to the shutter lever by a Bowden wire. As shown, an arm 38 of a pivoted safety catch 37 contacts with one end of a Bowden wire 44. The other end of the wire 44 engages the end 42 of a lever 40 pivoted so that the elbow 41 thereof lies in the path of the winding handle 23. The catch 37 is kept, by a spring, in the path of a catch 35 which is connected by a Bowden wire 31 to the shutter lever 15. In operation, when an exposure has been made, the catch 35 engages the catch 37 and prevents the shutter lever 15 from returning to its normal position. Another exposure cannot be made until the catches 35, 37 are disengaged through the action of the lever 40 and the Bowden wire 44 by turning the film winding handle 23.
