Abstract
An AC/DC/AC convertor comprises a convertor and a control circuit therefor. The convertor is for supplying asynchronously running rotating field machines (particularly of the hysteresis type) with an adjustable voltage, a capacitance being connected to the output of the convertor for reactive power compensation. In order to overcome self-excited asynchronous generator oscillation, the convertor arrangement includes means for deriving a compensating signal which is representative of the oscillation and superimposing the compensating signal on a control signal of the control circuit. <IMAGE>
