199,282. Stockall, A. H., Caslon, S. H., and Burch, W. I. Aug. 3, 1922. Galleys for single type composing an( casting machines. In galleys having a de tachable end-bar for use with type compos ing and casting ma chines, such as de scribed in Specification 8633/99, [Class 100 Printing, Letterpress &c.], the end-bar B is slightly shorter thar the width of the galley and has projecting ends B<1>, B<2>, which pass through holes in th( walls of the galley, a securing member C in the form of a flat spring being adapted to press against the end of one of the projections B<1>, B <2> The bar B may be positioned at either end of the galley, holes A<2>, A<3> and a spring C being provided at each end.
