Pivoted-jaw wrenches combined with other appliances. - A pipegripping attachment for hammers &c. consists of a link 9 adapted to take over the claw of a hammer 10, a toothed jaw 7 pivoted to the link and adapted to lie against the hammer head, and a V-shaped toothed jaw 5 also pivoted to the link and adapted to grip the pipe. The jaw 7 is preferably formed as a U-shaped yoke to permit the free end of the jaw 5 to pass through when gripping small pipes.
