Switches, actuating; covers.-A switch, operated unidirectionally by a handle F, has operating means mounted in the cover C' and comprising a spring-controlled ratchet G slidable on the spindle D and turning therewith, and removable with the cover C<1>. When in position, the ratchet G engages a second ratchet B on the switch spindle A to operate the switch contacts H. Indicating means comprise a washer I secured by a gland E and appropriately marked.
