Flexible transmitters.-The rod controlling the throttle comprises two spring controlled members a, b, each passing through an integral part a<1> or b<1> of the other and so arranged that the effective length of the rod can be varied by the Bowden mechanism c, thus providing an alternative means for operating the throttle.
