Cheese cutters.-In a cheese cutting machine comprising a base plate 24 grooved to receive a vertically reciprocating wire cutter 14, a carrier rotatable by a handle 16 and a horizontal wire cutter 1, the frame 3 of the latter is pivoted in a cylindrical sleeve normal to the base plate 3, the height of the cutting-wire being adjusted by rotating a screw which forms the base of the sleeve and supports the end of the frame 3. The cutting-wire 4 is supported horizontally between the frame 3 and a tensioning-slot 6 formed in the curved handle 2. A scoop for manipulating the cheese comprises two half discs A, B, the member A being rotatable by its handle D so as to coincide with the member B. A fixed guide 17 is made with an adjustable part 18 so as to permit the action of the horizontal cutting-wire. A second scoop 19 having a ledge 20 is also provided.
