Bulkheads.-The bulkhead a is provided with a dished or bossed central portion b extended out to the deck and shell plating and attached to the flat part of the bulkhead by angle irons. The bulkhead is connected to the deck and shell by webs or brackets disposed on one or both sides of the bulkhead. Alternately, the bulkhead is provided with more than one bossed portion.
