Abstract

195,724. Duncombe, S. L. Jan. 3, 1922. Treads.-Slats are secured to floors, stairs, or roofs of vehicles by transverse strips of metal D formed with triangular tongues F along the edges. The strips are first fixed in place, and the slats are inserted and secured by forcing the tongues against them. Triangular tongues may also be formed down the centre of the strips and the slats be driven on them for further security.
