Tables with mechanically-connected movable parts.-In a cabinet for stationery, scent, liqueurs, &c., the lid a is connected by links e, g, a bell-crank i and a link to a falling front c or other part arranged so that the opening sides of the parts a, c lie at right angles to one another. The part g may be yieldingly connected by a spring pin k to a platform d which is thus caused to rise and fall when the lid a is opened or closed. The pin k passes through a pin f which connects the links e, g together and slides in a vertical slot h having an upper lateral extension. The lid a may be divided and the mechanism may be duplicated.
