Abstract
194,600. Beard, W. W. May 26, 1922. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Trees and stretchers.-A boot tree comprises a toe portion and one or more resilient members which, when the tree is inserted in the boot presses against the inner surface of the sole and maintains the toe portion in position. Fig. 1 shows a tree in which a single resilient member in the form of a closed loop is used, the ends of the loop being connected in juxtaposition to each other to the toe piece. Fig. 3 shows another construction in which the resilient member is formed with one or more loops 3 in its length.
