PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A SHOE 0R SIMILAR ARTICLE Leo Sholtz, New York, N. Y.

Be it known that I, Leo Sholtz, a citizen of the United States, residing in New York city, in the county of New York and in the State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Shoe or Similar Article, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.

Figure 1 is a plan View of a shoe showing my new design.

Figure 2 is a side elevation of the shoe, partly in perspective.

The dominant feature of my present design resides in a shoe having a pair of bands looped at the instep of the vamp, one of said bands extending from the sole line at one side of the shank and along the upper edge of the vamp portion, through the loop and then towards the toe portion of the shoe and ending substantially short of the toe with a rolled end, the other strap extending upwardly from the middle of the sole line at the other side of the shoe, through the loop and then along the upper edge of the vamp and ending with a rolled edge midway between the sole line and the instep.

I claim:

The ornamental design for a shoe or similar article, substantially as shown and described.
