India-rubber springs for use between the body and chassis of a motor - omnibus &c. comprise pads of spongy or cellular rubber, or concentric rubber rings 9, Fig. 5, of the same or unequal depth, moulded to a plate 10, or rubber blocks 11, Fig. 7, moulded to opposite sides of a plate 12. The springs may be protected by annular or part annular casings 7.
