193,808. Sandor, N. Feb. 27, 1922, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Act]. Packing brittle articles. - Brittle articles are resiliently held within a box b by flexible concave portions a impressed in the walls of the box. The box may be provided with compartments formed from cardboard &c. strips in which the impressions are formed on each side of a longitudinal groove f about which each strip is folded, slots e perpendicular to the groove being provided in the strips so that they may be arranged at right angles to form the several compartments. Layers of compartments so formed are separated, when packed in tiers within the box, by a double thickness of cardboard impressed similarly to the walls. In a modification the impressions are formed protruding outwardly so that the box itself is resiliently supported.
