Ventilators; valves - A ventilator having a valve thermostatically operated according to the temperature in the chamber ventilated comprises a shaft c extending through the roof or, by means of an angle-bend, through the wall of the chamber, and provided with a cap a. A valve g is pivoted in the shaft on a spindle e and in the closed position rests against ledges or abutments d, h, on the wall of the shaft. The valve is operated by a thermostatic capsule l supported on a bracket o depending from the shaft, the capsule acting on a lever k pivoted on the bracket o and connected to a bracket i on the valve by a rod j. A hook t attached to the lever k carries weights for adjusting the lift of the valve.
