Illuminated stencil and transparency indicators. -A stopping and turning indicator for vehicles comprises a casing 1 divided into two compartments 7, 8 which contain lamps 6 adapted to be lit by operating a three-position switch. The lamps 6 are supported on an inclined plate 2 slidably mounted in guides 3, 4. The casing cover has two openings, each of which is covered by a sheet of coloured glass and a perforated sign plate which are retained on the cover by spring clips.
