Abstract

193,086. Owen, I. J. Oct. 11, 1921. Vacuum cleaning-apparatus. - A vacuum cleaner nozzle is formed with a n elongated mouth 11, the inner end walls of the nozzle being curved to form an intermediate contracted portion 12 of smaller cross sectional area than the mouth, and an expanded discharge portion 13. The nozzle shown is formed of a middle cored block with thin board or veneer front and back and with a contact piece shod with metal. A passage 14 leads to the dust bag of the cleaner, which is hand-propelled and furnished with a brush.
