Abstract

192,663. Urie, A. June 10, 1922. Winding-machines; skein holders.-A domestic device for winding wool &c. comprises a board 1 hinged at 1<a> and adapted to be clamped to a table or the like. At one end of the board is rotatably mounted a skein-holder having telescopic arms 3 and hook-ended members 4, while at the other end of the board is mounted a bobbin 11 adapted to be rotated by a belt 8 manually driven from a pulley 9. The wool or the like is led from the skein to the bobbin 11 through a guide 12.
