Abstract

192,620. Bowen, B. K. Feb. 22, 1922. Teeth, artificial.-A dental impression tray comprises two sections 1, 2 formed with projections 3 which together form a handle. One of the projections 3 is formed with a lug 7 which, together with a thumb screw 4, serves to hold the parts rigidly together. Each section carries on its lingual side a hinged flange 10 which may 'be manipulated to force the impression material into closer ccntact with the gums. The tray may, if necessary be removed from the mouth in sections, the impression material being cut by inserting a knife blade between the handle portions of the tray.
