Roofing tiles.-A roofing tile a, which when laid in position has the appearance of two or more plain or curved tiles, is made of uniform thickness and is provided with tongued and grooved side and head joints or locks. The head groove d is adapted to be engaged by the rib e of a tile in the course above while side grooves h and ribs f are engaged by complementary parts on an adjacent tile of the same course. The horizontal joint c may be as shown or rounded or angled. A rounded or angled rib may be provided on the upper surface of the tile above the side joints. The usual ribs k are shown.
