Metal-pouring.-A trough-like pourer for centrifugal casting machines has the edge A', over which the metal flows on rotation of the trough, inclined or stepped so that a progressive pouring along the mould is obtained. A reservoir B may be combined with the trough and be formed eccentrically to the axis of the trough or a chamber such as B may be arranged to receive metal from a separate funnel. In some cases the end of the trough may be closed and the trough may be of a capacity sufficient to contain the whole of the charge.
