Abstract

191,862. Cundy, J. A. Oct. 26, 1921. Curtains, suspending.-A device for keeping the supporting wires of curtains taut comprises a spring metal bracket as shown in Fig. 1. The wire or cord is attached to a. ball Band is pressed down a groove K in a slightly inclined spring tongue F on the bracket which is bent at A to hold the cord in tension against displacement. In an alternative arrangement, shown in Fig. II, the wire is provided with a hook V at its end which is attached to a member connected to the spring tongue by a knuckle joint Y.
