Folding boxes.-In a folding box of cardboard &c., in which triangular extensions B of the front and back are fastened to portions C of the sides and the box is collapsed by bending the sides outwards along the lines where the bases of the triangular extensions lie, the lid a is joined, as shown, to the back b by a fold and has two sides c and a front d each connected thereto by a fold, while such sides and front are themselves free from folds and are free and independent of one another. In the preferred form, the sides of the lid are the full depth of the box, and the front thereof is considerably shorter.
