Couplings with reduced bores at junction.- With the object of reducing the weight of the coupling for two sections of hose-pipe, the bores of the two sections are reduced at the point of junction by forming the sections with a curved or straight converging inlet a and a diverging outlet b. The invention may be applied to any ordinary form of coupling, the applications to a coupling of the Nunan type, to a bayonet-joint coupling, and to a union-nut coupling being described.
