Air-tubes.-In tyres of the kind described in Specification 1817/15, having nested air-tubes, the inner tube d is prevented from being forced into the opening of the valve stem b, by fitting the stem with a plughead a having a longitudinal passage opening into side ducts a<2> under the head a as shown. A projecting-cap e may be fitted over the head a, which maybe formed with projections &c. to position the cap. The head of the plug may be adapted to clamp the intermediate cover described in the above-mentioned Specification.
