11,557. Mark, C. Aug. 10. Alloys.-Iron or steel is coated with an alloy of lead and zinc with tin or antimony. Baths containing lead 94À45 per cent, zinc 1À81 per cent, and tin 3À74 per cent; or lead 97À2 per cent, zinc 0À8 per cent, and tin 2 per cent; or lead 90À5 per cent, zinc 1À96 per cent, and tin 7À5 per cent; or lead 87 per cent, zinc 3 per cent, and tin 10 per cent; or lead 79 per cent, zinc 5 per cent, and tin 16 per cent, are referred to. All or part of the tin may be replaced by antimony.
