6689. Phillips, A. May 4. Jet-wheels; reversing.-A rotor 13 is provided with two sets of pockets formed by vanes 15 on opposite sides of a partition 14, and steam is conveyed to both sets of pockets by a pair of nozzles 18 for forward working, and by a pair of nozzles 22 for reverse working, according to the position of a hand-controlled three-way valve 21, which ,is adapted also to cut off the supply.
