5185. Boby, Ltd., R., and Griffiths, C. H. April 6. Processes for reduction of grain.-In separating the crushed portions of kernel from the husk after passing the first break rolls A of a malt mill, the material is fed to the second break rolls B by a jigging conveyer D which is rapidly oscillated, for instance 300 or more times per minute, preferably by means of a cam F. A rotary or other sieve, with one or more sizes of mesh, may be interposed between the first break rollers and the conveyer, the different portions of the material being separately dealt with.
