Channels in crushing-apparatus. - In a gyratory crusher in which the head D is operated by an eccentric F, the parts are lubricated by a valveless pump located within the crusher casing and preferably driven from the eccentric. The pump comprises two pinions 11, 12 mounted in a small chamber 18 in an extension 10 of the eccentric. To permit the machine to operate in either direction, duplicate inlet and outlet openings 1, 2 are provided, the pair not in use being closed by plugs 3. The oil circulates through passages in the eccentric and overflows through channels 7 on to the gears G, H, which are not submerged in oil.
