[Published under Section 91 of the Act.] Valve-gear.-The valve levers of Diesel engines are worked from cams through guided distance-pieces so that the cam bowls always lie fairly on the cams. A single cam 2 controls the levers 14, 10, 7, of the starting, the fuel, and the admission or exhaust valves respectively of one or a pair of cylinders.
