Abstract

Buoys.-In an automatic gas buoy, the signalcarrying superstructure is mounted on the gasgenerator, which is removable, and telescoped in the float chamber. Thus, the signal structure 58<1>, Fig. 1, supporting a lamp 59 and carrying a bell 60 rung by balls moving in cylinders 61, is mounted on a flange 10 on the gas-generator C. The gas-generator is fitted within the cylindrical chamber A, Figs. 1 and 2, passing through the float chamber 1, and is removably secured by bolts engaging flanges 10, 12, not forming a gas joint.
