Abstract

Plastic compositions containing oxychlorides. - A mixture of preferably 4 parts of magnesium oxide, 2 parts of magnesium sulphate, ¢ part of sodium chloride, and 10 parts of kieselguhr, with or without asbestos, colophony, retarding-agents such as calcined gypsum, boric acid, and borax, is mixed with water and carbon bisulphide to produce a fire, water, and acid proof composition, which is also a non-conductor of electricity. It may be moulded and applied in the plastic state to walls, and may be applied to pavements. The product may be shipped and handled in the dry state.
