Abstract

Contacts.-A contact-finger for an electric controller comprises a finger-bar 10 having secured at right-angles thereto a bracket 12, which is pivoted at 13 to the clamping-bracket 2 and in its normal position is at right-angles to the clamping-bracket. The spring 9 for resisting the movement of the arm, and a nut 11 for limiting the inward movement, are carried by the clamping-bolt 6, which for this purpose is extended beyond the clamping- bracket; the bracket is secured on the stationary pillar 1 at right-angles thereto by a saddle-piece 4 and the clamping-bolts 5, 6. A slot in the tail of the finger-bar prevents inadvertent movement of the limiting-nut.
