Pickling.-Silicon-steel sheets for use in making dynamos and motors are first annealed and afterwards pickled in a warm dilute acid solution, and are then washed in a neutralizing- solution and finally dried. The magnetic properties of the material are stated to be improved, and insulating-paper may be securely affixed.
