Heat distributors and deflectors.-A device for distributing the heat from gas, oil, coal, and like stoves over the bottom of a cooking-vessel consists of a dished plate a with rings of apertures such that the proportion of the area removed by the perforation increases from the centre to the circumference, this being effected by making the perforations larger and closer together in the outer rings as compared with the inner. The plate has a depending rim g, and may have corrugations f. The distributor may be square or otherwise shaped. The outer corrugations are closer together than the inner, and the apertures may be made in the corrugations.
