Abstract
3631. Bates, W., and Moorhead, A. J. June 8. Hats, securing to head.-In a hat-fastener of the type in which combs a are attached to the hat by elastic bands b, the bands are secured by fittings c, d on the hat, so constructed that the bands can slide through them. Eyes f receive elastic strips, the outer ends of which are attached to the hat. In a modification, a single strip b passes right round the hat, the combs being formed similarly to the fittings c, d so that they slide on the strip. Springs may replace the elastic bands.
