Seats, arrangement and disposition of.-Seats for the upper decks of tramcars are mounted in pairs, the inclination of the line joining the centres of the seats being capable of alteration by mechanical means. The seats nearest the outside of the vehicle are mounted on revoluble pillars G, and the seats netwest the gangway are supported by legs which rest on trackways L. The pillars G are connected by cranks H to rods I provided with operating-handles J.
