Delivery. - Tiles are removed after moulding by jaws carried on a rotatable frame so that on completion of the rotation of the tiles are supported solely on supports pivoted on the frame. The latter comprises arms 58, 59, fixed to a shaft 60 and connected by a shaft 61 carrying pivoted stirrups 112, 113. The shaft 60 is operated by a crank and connecting-rod 82. The tiles are gripped between movable and rigid jaws 71, 72, 85, 85<1>. Each of the former is attached to a bar 105, as shown in Fig. 8, by bolts 96, 97 surrounded by springs 99, 100, and provided with conical nuts 101, 102, which slide in corresponding recesses in the bar 105. Transverse releasing movement of the jaws is caused by sliding the bars 105 on the arms 58, 59, by means of levers 69, 70, actuated by a connecting shaft 66 coming into contact with an abutment 92 acted on by a spring 93. On completion of the rotation of the frame, the stirrups, which are supported by springs 76 during the movement, are turned by rollers 88, 89 so as to deliver the tiles on to an incline 87.
