Abstract

29,831. Furstenau, R. Dec. 27. R÷ntgen-ray apparatus.-A selenium cell 1 is arranged in one arm of a Wheatstone bridge for measuring purposes. The resistances 2, 3, 4 forming the other arms are adjusted so that the current flowing through the galvanometer 6, when the cell is not exposed to the rays, is in the opposite direction to that when the cell is so exposed. The cell is mounted in a casing permeable to the rays on its upper side only, and is provided with long leads.
