Tripod stands.-Folding chairs, tables, &c. comprise a number of struts b1<1>, b2<1>, b3<1> forming legs which are pivoted to a central. block a, connected by links f1, f2, f3 to a block o and by folding links c1, c<1>1 to struts forming the supports of the table top or seat. The struts are made of channel section as shown in Fig. 6 so that the hinged links may fold between them, the upper struts folding over the lower.
