Golf clubs.-In an adjustably-headed golf club, a screwed extension E, Fig. 1, of the blade B has a conical part H fitting within a correspondinglyshaped eye in the socket A, and is secured by a conical-seated nut C, the conical portions being roughened or milled to prevent slipping. In a modification, Fig. 6, the blade, besides having the above-described rotary adjustment, is also capable of angular adjustment towards or away from the socket, a roughened spherical portion on the blade contacting with a spherical seating F on the socket. A washer D between the nut and the socket has a similar spherical seating G, and the hole through the socket is enlarged to permit the necessary adjustment. In a further modification, Fig. 4, the socket fits within a jaw in the blade and is clamped by a nut C'. Specification 15,713/09 is referred to.
