Golf clubs.-In a golf club having a head adjustable to vary the inclination of the striking-face, a projecting spindle c on the head screws into the neck d, or vice versa, and a spring h attached to the head extends into notches 2 in a quadrant d<1> formed in the neck. In a modification, the spring h is horizontal and terminates in a bolt fitting into holes in the quadrant. A spiral spring may be used instead of the spring h. In a further modification, Fig. 7, the spring h pivots on the spindle c and engages notches formed in both the head and the neck.
