Centering for floors.- Floor centering consists of beams d, Fig. 1, carrying the moulding-boards b, and supported by filling pieces h and bars f, which engage the lower flanges of the floor-supporting girders and are secured by wedges g inserted between the bars f and hook-shaped parts of hangers e, suspended on the beams d. To allow of adjustment, the beams d may be made of telescoping sections connected together by S-shaped hooks i, Fig. 5, which pass over the top of one section and under the bottom of the other section.
