Casings; regulating.-The guide-blades 2 of centrifugal fans &c. are pivotally mounted upon a fixed ring 4 and a floating ring 6 so that they are free to adjust themselves automatically under the influence of the current of air from or to the rotor to take up a correct position. By means of a lever 12 and set-screw 13, the ring 6 may be held rigid when required.
