H a s p fastenings; master-key locks. - In ordinary hasp fastenings for school and like lockers, in which a slotted hasp engages a staple and is secured by a padlock, the staple 3 is made detachable from its plate 7 by using a master key, if the padlock key is lost. The staple adapted to enter apertures 6 in the plate 7 has notches 8 which are engaged within the casing 10 by a lock bolt with ordinary lever mechanism, the key for which may be the same for a number of the locks.
