22,683. Wilkinson, C., Ridley, C. A., and Ridley, H. B. Oct. 8. Ground levers.-In a railway ground-lever, the hand-lever B, pivotally mounted in a lug P on the base-plate A, is adapted to reciprocate a slide C connected by arms F and a bell-crank lever G to the points, and controlled by a spring- pressed roller L acting against the double inclined part K of the slide. The spring-pressed roller is adapted to retain the points either in one or two set positions, according to the position of the apex of the inclined surface. The Provisional Specification also describes a modification in which a spring-pressed roller is arranged on both sides of the slide.
